Crossbearer

The rossbearer leads the presider and the other ministers to the sanctuary at the celebration of Mass.  His or her chief function is to ensure the smooth unfolding of the Eucharistic celebration.  The crossbearer assists the presider at the distribution of the Eucharist.  Crossbearers should have a good understanding of Mass structure and prayers and will be trained as a Eucharistic Minister as well.  Open to all who have received the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation.
