AUTO-DRAFT (ELECTRONIC) CONTRIBUTION
What is an Auto-Draft (Electronic) Contribution?
An Auto Draft (Electronic) contribution is an automatic transfer program which allows you to make contributions without writing check.
What is the advantage of Auto Draft Contribution?
It saves time, work, and simplifies your life! You also help the church stabilize its budget.
How will my Auto-Draft contribution be automatically deducted from my account?
You authorize the transfer; your specified contribution is electronically transferred directly from your checking or your savings account to the church's account.
When will my contribution be deducted from my account?
On a specific date each month the parish will tell the bank to make the transfers. You never have to worry about forgetting your donation, being away or mailing your check.
If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date each month.
Is an Auto Draft (Electronic) contribution risky?
An Auto Draft contribution is less risky than check contributions. It cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed. It has an extremely high rate of accuracy.
What if I change bank accounts?
Notify the parish and we will give you a new authorization form to complete.
How much does an Auto Draft contribution cost?
It costs you nothing and saves you time.
What if I try Auto Draft contribution and don't like it?
You may cancel your authorization by notifying St. Peter's in writing at any time. But, once you've enjoyed the convenience, time and money savings of electronic contribution, we doubt that you will want to go back to making contributions the way you did before.
How do I sign up for the Auto Draft (electronic) contribution?
Complete and sign the authorization form on the reverse side and return it to: Mary Ann Sullivan, Business Office St. Peter's Catholic Church along with a voided check or savings deposit slip.
