St Peter Habitat “build day” is Saturday, September 30, 2017.

A home for deserving families!

Volunteers must be 18 or older to participate on September 30. The Task will be Roof Shingles.

STEP 1: Go to the Habitat Charlotte Group Shift Search link:
STEP 2: Enter your group ID number (above)
STEP 3: Check the box next to the group name; Click “SELECT”
STEP 4: On the Volunteer Group Shift Search page, click “SEARCH” and your team’s scheduled shift(s) will appear. Choose the desired shift(s) and click “SELECT”

NEW USER/VOLUNTEER: Click “New User” to be prompted to create a new account.

EXISTING USER/RETURNING VOLUNTEER: If you have not done so as of June 2016, you must activate your existing account in the new database. To do so, click “Forgot Your Password” to receive an email to create a new password. Your volunteer account email is your username, and you will be able to sign in with your newly created password. If you have already activate your account and have a new password, simply log-in.

POST-REGISTRATION DETAILS After completing the registration, the shift and details will appear on the volunteer’s account. An automated confirmation email with full shift details will be sent to each registrant. A reminder email will also be sent.
IMPORTANT NOTE HFHC has transitioned to a new volunteer database and registration system. Please do not hesitate to contact a Volunteer Services staff member if you have any questions, need assistance, or would like to provide feedback on the new system. We’d welcome it!

See Charlotte Church Partners 2017 Habitat Build Schedule  for other dates when construction volunteers age 17 can help on site.  They must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian with no exceptions.  Task restrictions for any 16 or 17 year old volunteer (no power tools). Volunteers 18 and older do not have task restrictions.

In Mecklenburg county 20% of our residents live in poverty. We are committed to doing our part in alleviating this condition. St Peter is an original member of the 11 church, Charlotte Church Partners (CCP) first organized 17 years ago.

  2. More than 1,450 low-income families have been served with affordable housing by Habitat Charlotte since then.

  4. Habitat Charlotte homeowners have paid a collective total of $12.8 million in property taxes since 1983.
  5. Habitat Charlotte builds new houses with community volunteers, and also completes critical repairs to older, owner-occupied homes
