Statesville Avenue Men’s Shelter

Volunteers are needed on the third Friday of the month to assist in serving food to 200-250 men and handing out blankets.

Time Commitment: 5:30-7:30pm.

This is a great volunteer job – you serve the food and give a warm welcome to the homeless going through the food line.

Tryon Street Men’s Shelter

Volunteers meet on the third Saturday of each month at the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte located at 1210 N. Tryon Street from 4:30-6:30 pm. They are responsible for cooking and serving dinner to 200-250 homeless men from our community. St. Peters provides the money to purchase supplies and materials needed to make a well-balanced dinner for the residents.
