St. Peter Teen Summer Service Week 2017
set the World on Fire!
Our teens served McCreesh Place residents with a cookout, the soup kitchen at Ascension Lutheran in Dilworth, with Our Lady of Consolation Summer Camp, activities with Charlotte Boys and Girls Club, living the message of Laudato Si by cleaning up a local creek, building a Ramp for a homeowner to access his home, and helping the adults and children at Holy Angels! The teens also advocated for those who are on the fringes of society – the refugees, the homeless, the environment and children in war torn countries – at the Lemon Aid Stand outside of our church.
