Previous to St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. Jim Shea served as the Provincial for the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus for six years, was pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Washington, DC., provided pastoral care and directed programs of clinical pastoral education at St. Louis University Medical Center and Georgetown University Medical Center, and was director of Pastoral Field Education at Weston School of Theology, now Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. OUR PAROCHIAL VICAR: Fr. John Michalowski, S.J.
Fr. John is a native of Connecticut. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, has a Master of Philosophy from Boston College, received his M.Div. in the Jesuit School of Theology Chicago, and his Th. M. from Weston School of Theology. Fr. John has taught high school religious education, spirituality in lay ministry programs, and served as the director of Campion Renewal Center in Weston, MA conducting Ignatian retreats and spiritual direction. Most recently
Fr. John was pastor of Saints Mary and Joseph in Salem, NH, a combined parish of two churches. In the Manchester Diocese, he taught Christology in the Servant Leadership Program and sat on the Priest’s Continuing Formation Committee.

Meet Our Newest Priest….Fr. Jim Bowler, SJ
Rev. James Bowler, SJ, M.A., M.Div. – Pastoral Minister.
Fr. Jim served as facilitator for Catholic and Jesuit identity at Fairfield University as well as Director of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality. This followed more than 20 years of ministry in the area of spiritual direction as director of Campion Renewal Center, executive director of the National Jesuit Retreat and Renewal Ministries, and as a staff member at the Guelph Center of spirituality in Ontario, where he was responsible for training and supervising spiritual directors in the Ignatian tradition. He has spent many years integrating Ignatian spirituality with the psychology of Carl Jung. firstname.lastname@example.org
