Sunday morning "Coffee & Conversation"
(Also known as...Coffee & Donuts!!)
Every Sunday morning after both masses, unless the schedule does not allow, we invite you to partake of some coffee, donuts and conversation in Biss Hall. Biss Hall is located directly below the church and is accessed by both stairways on the right side of the church.
Volunteers offer to prepare light refreshments in the form of coffee, tea, juice and some sweets or pastries or cookies in order to provide an atmosphere conducive to chatting with friends and neighbors.
……… One area of our parish life that we sometimes take for granted is the hospitality that we offer to each other and to visitors. Yet offering hospitality is an extremely important piece of our parish’s apostolate. Making folks feel welcome and included may be the most effective way to encourage parishioners to become further involved in parish ministries and programs. The more people feel a part of the parish, the more likely they will invest themselves in the ministries of the parish.
……… The most obvious ways that we offer hospitality are the after-Mass coffees on Sunday mornings in the hall or courtyard.
