20s and 30s Ministry

We are a group of 20-and 30-somethings growing in Christ with our Jesuit parish in Charlotte’s Center City through

spiritual, service, and social events. The ministry is open to all young adults in their 20’s and 30’s.

SUNDAY JUNE 27th @ 5:00 PM
 St Peter Church
Join us Sunday, June 27 for 5 PM Mass at St Peter, the last Mass with Fr. Doug Ray, followed by fellowship. We will have rows reserved for the 20s and 30s to sit together. Following mass, we will go to Charlotte Beer Garden for food, drinks and fellowship. We look forward to seeing everyone then!

Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA) is forming a new cohort in Charlotte for 2021-2023! CLA is an Ignatian spirituality and leadership program for young adults (24 to 39). Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, it offers a welcoming, inclusive community experience for participants to deepen their spiritual lives, grow as inspired leaders in service to the world, and practice discernment. The application deadline has been extended to June 1st, and there is some additional flexibility in the submission deadline for the Charlotte cohort. The Charlotte program has also recently confirmed its new CLA coordinator! Learn more and complete your application here.

Join us on Saturday, June 26th at 10 am to make Blessing Bags and write notes of encouragement for our neighbors in Charlotte. All you need to bring is yourself! We will meet outside in the Elizabeth area. Please sign up here. An email will go out confirming the location. We look forward to seeing you!

Habitat Builds are back! Join us on Saturday, July 10th from 7:30 am to 2 pm to construct the sub floor. Please see this link for registration details.

Our Coffee Connections program is an opportunity to connect with other members of the group for a cup of coffee, a cold beer, or a Zoom video chat! If you are interested, please fill out this survey. We will create groups of 3 - 4 people to get together for informal gatherings during the time of day that works best for you! This can be used for anything you’d like - general conversation, prayer requests, games, etc. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.

20s & 30s BOOK CLUB
Calling all bookworms! This year we are continuing our 20's & 30's Book Club and we need your help! As some of you know, last year we started a book club in an effort to educate ourselves more on racial justice, in light of the Black Lives Matter movement. Since there was a fair amount of participation/interest, we have decided to continue it into the new year! This year we plan on expanding the club to include all genres of literature, in addition to those focused on racial justice. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this survey so we can gage interest!

While we cannot gather as we normally would during this time, we wanted to share an update from the Core Team to help you get to know us better! We hope you enjoy hearing from us and we look forward to gathering together again soon! Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone, and we hope you and your families are staying well.
