OUR PASTOR:   Fr. Tim Stephens, SJ

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Fr. Tim comes to us from our Jesuit parish in Decatur, Georgia, St. Thomas More. Fr. Tim was ordained a priest in 1999 and spent his first year of priesthood at St. Peter. He is an experienced spiritual director, and retreat house administrator. Fr. Tim also taught economics and ethics and directed the retreat program at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. He served for eight years as Treasurer of the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus. Email

PAROCHIAL VICAR: Fr. John Michalowski, S.J.

FrJohnMichalowsk SJ_webFr. John is a native of Connecticut. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, has a Master of Philosophy from Boston College, received his M.Div. in the Jesuit School of Theology Chicago, and his Th. M. from Weston School of Theology.  At St. Peter, Fr. John works with and mentors the Ignatian Spirituality Team, Justice and Outreach activities, Faith Formation, and the Migrant & Refugee Committee, to name just a few areas of ministry. .Fr. John has taught high school religious education, spirituality in lay ministry programs, and served as the director of Campion Renewal Center in Weston, MA conducting Ignatian retreats and spiritual direction. Most recently Fr. John was pastor of Saints Mary and Joseph in Salem, NH, a combined parish of two churches.   In the Manchester Diocese, he taught Christology in the Servant Leadership Program and sat on the Priest’s Continuing Formation Committee.  Fr. John came to St. Peter in January of 2016.  Email
