Through her project, free music lesson books are now available to music students with a financial need. Her step-by-step procedure manual has been shared with more than 180 community-based music education organizations inspire them to take similar action.

Lillian Naomi Smith // Digitizing Friendship Trays Meal Delivery Map
Troop 562, Meck 19. Lillian’s concern for the elderly and homebound people suffering from food insecurity inspired her to partner with Friendship Trays to create a digitized delivery system with digital driving instructions and real time client data. This user friendly application has simplified their entire delivery process whereas before they were relying on a very complicated delivery map. This new system has proven to be safer and much more efficient allowing them to better serve their clients.

Soha Desai and Hannah McNeirney// Optimism Outreach

Troop 562, Meck 19. Soha and Hannah earned their Girl Scout Silver Award together. For their project, they created “Optimism Outreach,” which is a project focusing on mental health awareness and positivity.
