If you or someone you know seems to be feeling God’s call to become a member of the Roman Catholic Church, we welcome you and promise to help you discern what God may be desiring for you. Come to one of our RCIA Inquiry open houses on August 4, 11 and 18 from 10:15 -10:45 am in the Ignatius House next door to the church. We will answer your questions and there is no obligation to join our church.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) informs you in Scripture and Catholic tradition, and assists you in considering the Church as a faith community for yourself. Be transformed through a personal relationship with God in prayers and the celebration of Mass.
The format of instruction is group presentation, individual study and prayer. Sponsors from our community companion and support our candidates on their spiritual journey. Our goal is to prepare the catechumens and candidates for full initiation into the Catholic Church and a lifelong commitment of sharing in the Paschal mystery.
RCIA meets on Tuesday evenings in Benedict Hall. For more information about the RCIA program please contact: Doneata Grisdale.
