Teen Serve donations

Help Those in Need - During Teen Serve Week this JULY!

All parish members can help by collecting the items listed below. Start collecting now for curbside drop-offs in front of St. Peter
July 12 - 16 from 10 am - 12 pm!
The need is greater than ever.

  • A Roof Above: New or gently used towels and wash cloths
  • Baby Bundles: New or gently used 3-6 month outfits, pajamas 0-12 months, burp cloths, and bibs (no monograms)
  • Catholic Charities Food Pantry: canned fruit, rice, spaghetti sauce, tuna, pasta, toiletries, laundry detergent, paper products, juice, coffee, tea
  • Charlotte Rescue Mission: hair brushes, twin blade disposable razors, shampoo & toothbrushes.

We have already donated 100 masks to Boys and Girls Club and have a goal of 1000 masks! Teens cut fabric and we have an expert team of parishioners who sew the masks. We are currently sewing masks for Freedom School and A Roof Above (formerly Urban Ministries/Men’s Shelter).

Since we will not be able to go to service sites due to volunteer restrictions, We will have various drives and projects for teens to work on from home in addition to several onsite service opportunities.  We'll make flashcards, blankets and scarves, cut felt for banners, provide lunches for A Roof Above, and more!

Many thanks!
