Faith Formation Volunteer Opportunities
Each year sponsors from our community are paired with adult candidates for baptism, confirmation and/or full communion with the Catholic Church. Sponsors companion RCIA candidates by attending RCIA sessions once a month, connecting with their candidate regularly to answer questions, pray together, and build a meaningful faith-based relationship, and attend the rites and rituals of the RCIA process. Potential sponsors must meet with an RCIA team member to discuss the process and to help us better pair them with candidates. Contact Doneata Grisdale

The class also includes discussion about what we believe happens spiritually at baptism and also goes through the Rite of Baptism. Parents having their first child baptized must attend, but the class is open to all parishioners wanting to revisit their baptismal call.

Volunteers help on Sunday morning or afternoon at least once per month. The program also is in need of skilled craft makers, including woodworking, calligraphy, art, etc.
