Faith Formation Volunteer Opportunities

WE NEED YOU

The success of our growing faith formation program depends on the many helping hands of our parish community willing to share their time and talents with others. A catechist or an assistant catechist is anyone who has a love for their Catholic faith and is called to share it with others. 

The primary function of a catechist or assistant is to model God’s love to others. 

There are several opportunities available this year.  We ask you to prayerfully consider joining our team of Catechist or Assistant Catechist at St Peter. 

Are currently needs:

              Assistant Catechist for Sunday at 9am Confirmation class

              Catechist and assistant for traditional class at 9am on Sunday - 4th grade and 6th grade needed. 

              Assistant catechist for our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd both at 9am and 1015am Sunday classes.

Protecting God’s Children

The Catholic Church is committed to the safety of children. Together we can make a Promise to Protect, and a Pledge to Heal.
Training – Protecting God’s Children for Adults: Designed to help adults recognize and prevent the sexual abuse of children. Mandatory for all employees and for all volunteers who have regular contact with children.
